    Started in 2012 with nothing on the bar. Just looking to get stronger and compete in Powerlifting a few times.

    I run a charity Push/Pull in August called Lift for Kids' Sake. August 2015 brought in about $3000 for Big Brothers and Sisters in my area. We've been growing every year!

    Anyway, glad to be here!

    I guess I should give a little intro.

    37 years old, married with 2 kids 14 and 3 year old boys, and one on the way. (Same women in case you're wondering)
    Started lifting, like I said in 2012 and weighed about 155lbs at 6'2" (Bean pole). I am currently 210 lb.
    I was a a high jumper in university, and competed nationally and internationally, although never amounting to anything but a bunch of what if's and shoulda have's, which brings me to why I do this!

    Stats:

    Current Training maxes for my main lifts are:

    Squat: (345)
    Bench: (235)
    Deadlift: (465)

    My goal is to stay consistent and get stronger!

    This is session 8 of a 2-day alternating linear progression program.

    Workout A
    Squat
    Bench
    Deadlift

    Workout B
    Front Squat
    Z-Press (ceiling clearance issues)
    BOR

    Starting with light weight for 3x12 and adding weight every session and decreasing volume as the weight gets heavier. I will always push for 3x12 until I can't, then 3x10, 3x8, etc...

    So last night
