    Nike sponsors USAW.

I want to say they sponsor Mattie Rogers. That's it besides crossfitters.

Athletereps may sponsor a few athletes but they are a licensee.

Mattie Rogers - though Nike's Oregon project seems to only be for runners.

Is corporate sponsored doping more efficient than state sponsored?

I doubt it. The state has far more protection. Corporations are more easily investigated, and won't take as much risk. It's one thing if a sponsored athlete gets busted. It's a whole different world if a company is found to have been facilitating it.

Who would stand to lose more?
Nike as a company, or Russia as a country?
    Easy answer.

I never participated in the sport of WL as such. I trained WL movements like snatch, power clean or jerk when I was a youth/junior thrower (ages 12 to 20). Not year round though.

Just to be clear, Nike does not sponsor USA Weightlifting - Athlete PS sponsors USA Weightlifting.

USA Weightlifting, nor any of our athletes, have ever had anything to do with the Nike Oregon Project.

I was referencing this though it's older. https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Weightli...w-Sponsor.aspx

But moreso the fact that all of the American Open series this year were named Nike American Open Series 1,2,3 is why (I thought) they still sponsored USAW.https://webpoint.usaweightlifting.or...EventID=182396

    Oops.

Correct, Athlete PS do have the right to use the Nike name - the same company sponsor US Fencing, USA Wrestling and quite a number of University athletics departments. However to be clear we have no affiliation directly with Nike Inc.
