    *** Did 2 workouts: AM/PM

    Workout #1

    Gym #2 (lbs)

    fukboi complex: PC + C + FS + PJ/SJ
    - I was "coaching" my friend who is quite new to OLY, and most of the focus went to him hitting 225 lbs.
    - did a bunch of sets ~155, 175, 205, and one set at 225

    Power Snatch
    -155x2x5
    -felt like shit, was considering to go home at this point, but was like fuck it, and decided to go to the "real" gym and snatch

    100x2 (missed both; 1st over pulled, 2nd under pulled...not enough rest in-between, and I actually wasn't intending to do a double)

    Fuck this work out. At least I found a belt in the BOG. It's probably worth ~$10 so I'm happy.
    Going in for a second work out today for some redemption...Going to GHD, snatch, BS or FS, and probably OHP, followed by some running.

    - having an OHS competition with LJL on Wednesday maybe, so needed to make sure I can do this, might be easier for me just to snatch balance though

    Did a few box jumps, and one-legged box jumps, got pretty high and ppl were mirin'


    Run
    400mx2
    -small break, probably around 1:30 pace



    Good workout, snatches were easy, but mostly bc i just brute forced them. Squats felt pretty great, best in awhile, probably would've PRd if my sw0lem8/arch nemesis was there, just to show him whadup. Run felt good, bench was strong, not a huge fan of the lighting/bench i used though (just can't trust lbs. plates either). By the end of it I was sweating like a dog

    Oh man, you're lucky. I just lost my belt. Left it in the bog. Good thing I only paid $10 for it so it's not a huge loss...

    Whoa whoa whoa. You just said "let's do heavy af ohs on Wed". You never said it was a comp. You know I'm green as hell on snatch ohs.

    I will agree to an OHS comp if you agree to a split jerk comp. I would possibly settle for a power snatch comp, just to see what you get up to.

    why don't Apti or Torokhtiy splits jerk ? bc its a for pussies

    I think I can power 95-100 range. Suggesting a "heavy af ohs" implies competition doesn't it ? I'll sell you that belt I found btw...lmk.

    Gym #2 lbs

    -usually get my warm-up here, bc bikes and rower, and more babes, but then I move on to "real" gym. Today this real lit powerlifting bae was there (she squats 365, generational legs, super cute face and lean bod), and and surrounds herself with lil powerlifting dudes (like ~60kg, just a couple low bar/sumo pulling munchkins), so I decided to do some ego lifting and randomly start to CGBP.

    135 - till i felt warm
    185x8
    225x6 * did spoto presses up to this point
    245x7
    275x5 * i think this is a PR
    225x burnout, probably ~10


    -transition to real gym



    Gym #2
    Bog (kg)



    Clean & Jerk (power jerk)
    -did FS, multiple jerks, cleans etc., at every weight until 100

    100x1x3
    110x1x2
    120x1x2 * missed second jerk

    Front Squats

    100x4x4

    GHD
    2x12 with 25 lbs.

    - super set with 70 kg 1x12 hip-hinge rows (higher than a pendlay row, or whatever they are called).




    Had to flake on LJL and get a short workout in. Jerks weren't easy and FS was pretty light, but felt a little rigid.

    The Bog (kg)


    Over Head Squat
    -took sweet time warming up
    -did btn Push press, OHS's, snatch balances and squat jerks up to 100kg
    -don't remember every set I did, but will track the more notable ones
    -first rep of snatch balance at 90 felt great, but 2nd felt weird (shoulders rotating, easy recovery, but still shit), and so did the others
    -squat jerk felt good
    -btn push press was hard

    90x2 snatch balance - 1st easy, missed 2nd
    90x4 squat jerk * nice and precise
    100x1x4 squat jerk
    110x1 BTN push press into OHS


    SNATCH
    -as per usual, mixed in hangs, power, and even a few hip snatches up to 70-90kg (stopped hip snatch at 70, i like that movement as a cue to prime for a bigger extension/pulling under the bar)
    - missed most of my hang snatches; quick fails though, so didn't really tax my CNS

    100x1
    110x1x2 - missed both
    110x1 - easy rep, dedicated this one to UFC featherweight Grey Maynard
    90x3 - these reps were super fast and snappy, the 3rd rep is maybe the best i've ever done

    100x2 - missed both, didn't even attempt the second



    SQUAT

    170x1 - missed, quickly ditched weight in the hole (wasn't looking for any grindy reps)

    130x3 - thought this was 110, and was like holy fuck this is heavy for 110

    Cleans/CJ/POWER CLEAN

    - Mostly just messed around
    -all jerks were power
    -did 110x2 PC, bunch at 90/100...one of my reps was kind of weird, but felt strong otherwise
    -did a few reps at 110 CJ
    -everything was easy



    GHD
    -super set these with the "bull kick" lower back machine

    COOL LOWER BACK MACHINE

    3x10


    OHS + Snatches took a lot of time. OHS felt the most difficult they've ever been, BTN pressing power felt awkward, and shoulder stability was suspect on the descend/ascend. Snatches were great, I think it's my best movement ATM, and the one where my current "PR" is the furthest away from my "max". I'm stalking down 120, although, in all honestly, I don't think i've ever pulled or even held 120kg in a snatch grip/deadlift etc...so I may be humbled. That being said, ~115kg is definitely in the tank.

    -had a huge nap and missed my scheduled worked out time...was pretty sore, especially my erectors, didn't sleep or eat well the night before. Mostly just fucked around and got a bit of movement in.


    did some power cleans, full cleans, jerks up to 90kg

    a few bent over rows, 70kg and 60kg

    thats pretty much it

    -as per usual, did a lot of random stuff up to about 100kg
    -squat jerked up to 100kg, no misses
    -power clean up to 120

    135x1x2 missed both cleans, close though (pretty fatigued at this point, CNS still fried from poor sleep/eat schedule over past few days)

    140x3x2 (on second set, last rep was UBER quick, making me quite optimistic about 140)

    -pretty fatigued by this point

    -super strict
    -was super setting this with 1-footed and 2-footed box jump shit. burpee into high jump, broad jump, etc etc...goofy stuff. Probably ~36-40"

    PushPress
    -the weight was absolutely flying, easier than jerks, SMH lol

    110x1 - rushed the first one, recovered rack position, and threw it up. Timing is everything.



    I've been sleeping and eating like a vagabond lately, and my CNS is still fried from my Wednesday night workout. Forgot to bring my intraworkout too: BioSteel like the chElly boyz in the show. All this considered, still pretty good workout. Excited for a day where I feel good. I think my jerk needs the most work ATM; right now my push press is dangerously close to my jerk... I wouldn't be surprised if I could squat jerk > power jerk. I really should learn the splits jerk, seems so much more forgiving - but I am a little sketched out for back foot ankle stability (this was my achilles heel as a soccer player).

    -worked out at some shit hole, otherwise known as Canada Games POOL. Actually not that bad, but it's so humid and I didn't have chalk; and as a result, this limited workout.

    -threw in power snatches until 80

    C&J
    -did PCs, full cleans, front squats, pp, jerks
    -lots of work at 90
    -lots of work at 100; pc, fc, pp, power jerk
    -did some 'skill work' with 80 for squat jerks
    -did an EMOM of 80-90kg complexes for 5 rounds

    110x1x3 - 1 was power
    120x1x2 - 1st lockout was weak

    **push press has been moving like butter




    Didn't really keep track this workout - but it was so humid and I was sweating like a pig, so all in all, decent experience (probably lost a few pounds). I just got a new job, so for the next week or so, my routine will likely be negatively effected.
