My first shoe was DoWins, got them around 7 years ago maybe? For squatting. They're heavy and I always felt like I had blocks of wood strapped onto my feet. The only problem I had with them is the sole separating from the shoe, but that was easily remedied with shoe goo. I got adipowers last year and they are great -- light and comfortable. No regrets with that indulgence at all.

I have a pair of blue suede Do Wins, and a pair of white Romaleo 2's. The Do Wins are retired, and the Romaleos are great shoes. That being said, i love the blue suede, and if I ever see another pair I will buy them, but I don't think they make them anymore.

Oh man those green and gold ones are sweet, aussie colours. I might have to get a pair

Comes to $168 for me though which is a bit pricey, considering my Romaleos were only $150 on sale. Also I quite like the look of these AWF shoes at only $99

I don't need any more shoes though, so I'll just close those tabs...

I've trained in Do-wins, Ristos, VS Athletics, and Romaleo IIs. Nike's are my favorite by a long shot.

Guys we need a table comparing shoe sizes of various manufacturers somehow.

FFF how do you compare the DW to Romaleos? What sizing?

I agree with this. I'm in adipowers right now and love them, but they feel a bit big. I wear a 10.5 nike running shoe, and my adipowers are a 10.

I can't remember what size do-wins I had. I think they were the same as my Nikes which is 9.

Well maybe they'll fit you better than they fit me? Also, it will be a while but you can return them, you'll just have to wait longer. I got caught up in all the reviews on Nikes saying "sizing is just like my runners!!" and for some reason my brain thought it would be the same in Adidas..

It's really frustrating for me not being able to try shoes on before I buy them, especially if you're forking out at least
