Correct, neither the AP nor the Tribune are actually voting members of the crtiical bodies from a perspective of keeping Weightlifting in the Olympic Games - the Program Committee and the IOC Executive Board. The reality is, it is a very small number of individuals.

I wasn't trying to imply that the AP was among the voting members. just posting a related article. And it is reassuring what you say about Ajan being close to the small number of individuals who have the power to keep us in the Olympics.

As I mentioned, Ajan is like the pope. The level of corruption is incredible. The higher up you go, the worse it is. I don't want to say any of you have no idea, maybe you do, but I saw a lot of very disturbing things as a BOD member. Ajan is not going anywhere, unless it is on his terms.

Well, he's not the youngest spring chicken either. I'm surprised he even wants to continue as president nearing 80.

I'm assuming the situation is like in regular politics. Based in blackmail, of various people's things that would at the very least be illegal, right? This causes things to fall in line, and people to break promises?
