    Max out day with near Snatch PR | Commentary

    Another max out day and everything went really well. Hopefully next week goes well too. I'm happy with the progress I feel and see that I'm making.

    Heavy volume day went well | Commentary

    I'm continuing to push up the weights on this day 1 workout each week. The weights are feeling difficult, but they are moving well. I feel that my quads are getting stronger, and I'm starting to get random quad pumps within my workouts, which is great.

    Complex clean/jerk complex | Commentary

    Per a suggestion on my last video, I tried to align my commentary with what is going on in the video. It was a good suggestion, so I'm going to try to implement that with my videos. I am also going to post a time stamp of the different exercises that I do, so you can click to see which lifts I do quickly instead of doing it at random.

    Failed jerks after front squats and pulls | Commentary

    Day 3 of week 4 workout.

    More front squats on this day. Everything went well for the most part. I had some struggles with the jerks I had. It was the first week where I had some failed reps. I was able to complete all of the reps, but I'm starting to feel the weights start to get pretty heavy.

    PR Snatch and total | Commentary

    I was able to hit a 10 lb PR in the snatch and a new PR total because of me matching my best clean and jerk. I'm not sure what my best total prior to this day was, but with these numbers on this day I would have surpassed it.

    Last week before deload | Commentary

    This is the beginning of last week of training that I deload. I was more aggressive in weight jumps I made during this week. This made the lifts more difficult for sure.

    New equipment at the gym | Commentary

    With this workout, I tried out some new equipment at the gym with some of the mats that were added. I may be using them more in the future to do some work at different levels and potentially do create my down platform to do some work on with a surface that allows the bar to sit a bit better.

    Hitting some heavy jerks along with other heavy weights | Commentary

    This was a difficult workout that had lots of heavy lifting within it. I'm very happy that I was able to hit all the weights I programmed for this workout, particularly with the jerk doubles that I had.

    This is the second to last workout of week 5. It is the last workout before I had my max lift workout, and the last lift I had before I went to the Arnold.
