    1. Get a total at a regional or national competition. NO, not a "senior level national" comp, I'm way below that. Attained a U.S. master's nationals QT in late 2017 and also can compete as a master's athlete at one of the American Open Series things, so I'll have at least two shots (77kg class; >45-49 yrs age group).

    2. Strength: specifically, actually improve my BS 1RM that I set over 1 year ago. FS went up in 2017 and is now ~90% of my BS, so I'm hoping that the movement corrections my coach has been pushing will enable me to build both leg strength and a more efficient BS movement so as to hit that goal of a BS of over 160kg. With my C&J at around 85% of my FS, I'm also hoping that these strength gains will have a very direct & visible impact on the only total that matters.

    3. Total: I'm very optimistically hoping I can hit a 200kg total (current @ 175kg comp, 180kg training). Probably a 90kg snatch and 110kg C&J. . . stop laughing, I'm really shooting to end 2018 at least on the level of a decent 58kg female. I had the 200kg goal in 2017 as well, but with little basis for setting it. Now, with a good coach and lifting ~1x/week with other decent, same-weight-class lifters (4-5x total training sessions per week), I truly do think that this goal is not completely unrealistic.

    1. Lift goals 125-130/155-160
    2. Squat goals: front squat-192 back squat-215
    3. Finally, pushpress 137.......this seems the least likely as Im like 21 kgs away
    4. Fill out the 94kg area. Ill try to be a lean 90kg by the time the new weightclasses are decided and move from there

    130 snatch and 160 clean & jerk @ 94 kg and 36 years old

Continue building to a 300 total before I am 40.

So close but with a new job, relocation back to Boston, training is becoming very difficult to manage with work.

Apparently my 2017 goals were too ambitious, and so I'll dial it back some.

    Sn 128
    CnJ 145
    BS 188
    FS 168

    Total 256+ in competition

    Don't drop the baby

Stretch goal, compete as 94..if it still exists.

It won't likely change by more than a kilo or two. It has been a very popular weight category.

Bodyweight snatch. Either by losing weight on my body or gaining weight on the bar.

The same goals that I failed last year.

    1) Stay healthy (so far so good)
    2) Lose weight, make 94kg class (so far it's a lot better than last year)
    3) Snatch 100kg
    4) Clean&Jerk 125kg

#1 was an issue all last year, whether it was missing 6 weeks completely in February through March, or just the little nagging issues.
#2 was a complete failure. I actually ended the year over around 110. Down to 102 now.
#3 seems possible. I've got 92 so far.
    #4 is a maybe. I'm pretty short at 111.
