    Didn't really want to go to the gym today, but I made myself. Didn't really want to DL, but I made myself. Didn't want to do 10 reps at 325, but I made myself. After 6 reps, I told myself I could quit after the next one. Did that one and told myself the same thing. Made it to 10 reps. Sometimes you just have to tell your mind to go fuck itself and get shit done!

    Went in looking for 215x12. Unfortunately, my mindset wasn't right and I only got 8 reps. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten 12 if I had a spotter (that does amazing things for my mindset) but I was happy to set an 8-rep PR either way. Not my ideal workout, but I checked the box today and live to fight another day.

    Ego can be a bitch...and a motivator. Today's workout was something I really wasn't interested in. Moreso because it called for 12 reps at 265lbs. Who wants to do that? But, I did. It wasn't pretty, but I got it done. Legs are shot already. I can't believe how smoked I am. I'm loving it though! Looking forward to finishing the week strong tomorrow.

    Had a lot of fun finishing the week strong with an #OHP workout. Felt really strong this AM - probably had something to do with getting about 11hrs of sleep last night! Either way, it was a strong finish to good week of workouts. On to 3x3's next week!

    The week always begins with deadlift day and this week was no different. I took yesterday off since I was up late for the Super Bowl (no booze, but I let my diet go), so I was back at it this morning. Couldn't get a good groove going but muscles through it all. Felt strong overall.

    These bench press sessions are really starting to piss me off. Just not feeling safe. Safe. Not so much as strong, but safe. Was looking for 9 reps at 230 and only got 7. Again, could have gotten there with a spotter (most likely) but got freaked out and racked it. Volume and accessories felt good though.
