    I got very little sleep today, and have been up for quite a while, but I felt good coming in. I've made some changes to my diet to hopefully get some energy back and recover better.

    Snatch:
    These weren't as bad as Monday, but they weren't great. I almost felt like I had snatched before, but I wasn't quite competent.

    Hang Snatches:
    Pretty good.

    Press:
    Better than I had hoped. I got 8 solid smooth reps.

    Clean&Jerk:
    Not too bad. My upper back and shoulders were pretty worn from yesterday, but this went alright. I had a family matter that made me stop in mid session for 30 minutes. I didn't feel quite right when I started again, but I didn't really have time to start over.

    Deadlift:
    The tired back really came into play here. These were acceptable but not great. It didn't help that my 4" belt was cutting into my ribs and hips badly. It isn't very comfortable now that I've lost a lot of weight. I may have to get a 3" belt soon.

    I am finally well rested and feeling ready to train, except that it's very cold here today. My garage is in the low 30s. Definitely made it hard to move. I'm also feeling a little "fluffy" today due to some over eating over the weekend.

    Snatch:
    Not too bad. Decent pull and receiving position. The 2nd miss at 160 was ugly and wasn't close, so I stopped.

    Hang Snatch:
    Solid and strong.

    Bench Press:
    Shoulder wasn't as tender as last week, but mildly sore. Lifts themselves were good, but I cut it short for the sake of my shoulder.

    I did some accessory and bodybuilding work today. Seated chest press, pec flies, and cable curls.

    It's even colder today than yesterday. I really did not feel like moving.

    Clean&Jerk:
    These were going very well. Things felt smoother and more solid than they have in a while. But I had a family issue arise and had to stop.

    I wasn't able to squat today because of that family issue. Hopefully I can make it up on my off day tomorrow.

    I made up the squats I didn't get to do yesterday. Cold again. My lower back kept tightening up on me. I had trouble getting loose and staying that way.

    Felt pretty good today. It wasn't too cold and I actually felt like moving a little.

    Snatch:
    Pretty good. Most reps were very smooth. My misses felt and looked like quality reps, I just didn't balance them well enough. Nothing felt heavy or hard. They all got to the catch position, and a few I even started to stand up before I lost them.

    Hang Snatch:
    Taking 3 shots at those last 2 snatch weights took its toll. These weren't as solid as they had been lately.

    Press:
    Pretty good. I didn't push too hard.

    Absolutely exhausted today. I got woken up after only 2 hours of sleep, and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm really feeling weak today. I also had very limited time, so this was all done very quickly with little or no rest in between.

    Clean& Jerk:
    Acceptable cleans, not so acceptable jerks. I was all over the place trying to jerk. It was ugly, even at lighter weight. I decided to stop at 190 and be happy that I made that.

    Hang Cleans:
    Decent enough. Next week I think I'll start doing jerks from the blocks instead of hang cleans as my accessory movement.

    Deadlift:
    Not great. My back was fried at this point. I'm lucky to have gotten this much.

    It was long day of family activities, including 2 hours of baseball practice. I did not have a lot left to give to training tonight. Everything hurt a little when I started.

    Snatch:
    My knee was tender and sore. I didn't have an issue until I hit the bottom position of the snatch. It made things difficult. Everything was slow and awkward today. 155 was such an ugly grinder that I decided to stop there.

    Bench Press:
    And my shoulder hurt, probably from playing baseball and throwing for 2 hours. These did not go very well. Every rep was a very slow grinder.

    I cut out hang snatches and all accessory work due to the late evening time and how I felt.

    I'm even more stiff and sore today. Took a long time to get ready to train.

    Clean&Jerk:
    These were pretty good. I managed a little more than last time I used the high blocks, and that is the goal for now. Every rep was smooth, both the clean and the jerk. I was very happy with this and stopped, even though I had more in the tank.

    Back Squat:
    My hip started hurting out of the blue during warmups. I had to stop and try to work it out. It didn't help much, but I was able to narrow my stance slightly and get work in without too much pain. I did not push these hard at all.

    No accessory work.

    I am rested and feeling pretty good today, except my shoulder and neck hurt from 2 hours of baseball yesterday. It is not handling volume throwing/pitching.

    Snatch:
    Real good, in spite of the soreness. I hit my goal and stopped.

    Press:
    Good, but hard. This really irritated the shoulder and neck. I was lucky to get these reps.

    No accessory work.
