I had a bad headache today. I had a long late night, didn't sleep well, and don't feel well.

Deadlifts killed my pounding head. I got 5 quality reps and was done.

I squatted just enough to keep my everyday streak alive. My head did not like the up and down.

    135×1
    185×1
    225×1
    255×3

I was very tired and worn out today.

    Cleans:
    These went well.

    Snatch:
These were rough. I was all over the place today. No consistency. Pulls were hard. I was leaving the bar out front a lot and couldn't get it back where I needed it.

    Back Squat:
I completely forgot about a family event I had. I was finishing up snatches when I was reminded and had to leave. When I came back, I was tight and had trouble loosening up. My ankles were stiff and did not loosen up. These were not great.

    100×5
    115x5

    135x1
    155x1
    175x1
    190x1
    205x3

    Press:
These were all hard. I had hoped for 5 on the last set, and tried, but failed.

    Front Squat:
These were terrible. I was very weak and my legs were fried. It took forever to loosen the joints in the ankles and knees. I lowered the weight just so I could do 3 reps.

    185×1
    225×1

I had about 15 minutes of free time today, so this was it. No jerks or anything else. Probably for the best. My shoulder could use the rest.

    These went really well.

    Bench Press:
My shoulder felt fine, right up until the last set. It was a little tender on the first rep, and hurt badly on the last rep. Next week is de-load, so I'll probably cut out all pressing and jerking completely.

    Front Squat:
These were much better today. I actually had some legs. I may have even been able to go a little heavier, but I was happy with this.

    Snatch:
The shoulder was sensitive today. It took a lot to get it to cooperate for snatches, and the catches still felt very heavy.

    Cleans:
These were pretty good. It's almost like I remembered how to clean a little. I got a little sloppy on one and caught it too far forward, but corrected and made it.

    Back Squat:
These were solid. Fast and stable. Everything felt light on the back and was fast out of the bottom. This is the best I've squatted in a while. I was tempted to try for more, but decided to be happy with this.

It was another long day, with a very late session, and little training time. I rushed through the Deadlift as fast as possible and then squatted just enough to say I did it. Deadlifts were sticking to my legs really badly. It isn't usually an issue, but I definitely needed longer shorts tonight. These were painful and slow.

It's a de-load week. I'll be sticking to lighter weights on some movements, cutting volume, and completely cutting out the jerk, overhead press, and bench press for a while in hopes that my shoulder heals up a little. Snatches will stay in, as long as they cause irritation. So far, they haven't.

I'm slightly dehydrated again today. Diarrhea and some sort of mild stomach bug. It's irritating.

    Cleans:
    Nice, easy, smooth.

    Snatches:
Not nice, easy, or smooth. I could not get the bar in the grove where it needed to be. I kept leaving it out front. Even the good reps weren't very good.

    Back Squat:
These were heavy and hard. My legs were dead and I was weak. It took bout 10 seconds to stand up 295.*

These went really well. Last one was a slow grinder, but decent technically.
