I felt good today, after 1 days off from training. I had to wake up early and train early, and didn't get enough sleep, but feeling good.

    Snatch:
Didn't feel strong off the floor or second pull. Catch was awkward overhead. Had a mild middle back cramp during warmups and had trouble getting it back into position. Didn't end as strong as I had hoped, but acceptable following a week off. I managed to add weight since my last floor snatch session, but I wanted slightly more. But that wasn't possible today.

    Bench Press:
Had to narrow my grip a bit. My shoulder started acting up again. I am usually weaker with a narrow grip these days, but today I felt strong, and had less pain. This is aggravating because it only hurts in this range of motion. I can snatch, clean, jerk, and overhead press just fine. I may have to make this grip width permanent for the sake of my shoulder.

    Another early morning session.

    Clean&Jerk:
These were decent enough, but I didn't feel as good as I did yesterday. Things got slow and sloppy, so I did what I could and stopped.

    Back Squat:
Much harder than anticipated. Clean&jerk took more out of me than I thought. I had felt good until squatting, then once I started, I began feeling weak and shaky. I'm thinking a nutrition issue.

I felt like complete garbage today. I got very little sleep, and didn't get to eat before I trained. I was on about 18 hours with nothing to eat, and I felt it. I was weak and shaky the whole time.

    Snatch:
Not great, but better than I thought they would go. My goal was to hit 155, and I did that. I should have made 160 3 times. It was there, I was just a little too sloppy.

    Press
These went well. I was happy with them.

Not feeling so hot today. I was sore and worn down. I ran around all evening at my kids baseball practice. I ran a lot of bases and am feeling it today. I had no idea how badly that wood wear me down.

    Clean&jerk:
Not great, but acceptable. I was power cleaning everything. My legs were fried and I had no desire to pull under or squat it up.

    Deadlift:
Slow and hard. My hamstrings were on fire and it made everything a slow grinder. I managed 7 decent reps, and couldn't do another.

Felt a little fluffy from over eating this weekend, but also felt weak because I couldn't eat before training.

    Snatch:
These did not feel very good from a technical standpoint. Everything from the first warm-up felt slow and hard. But they were decent reps when reviewed, except the last rep. I managed my my minimum acceptable weight.

    Hang Snatch:
I had been skipping these due to time constraints and it showed. They were much harder than anticipated and broke down badly. I was lucky to get every rep.

    Bench Press:
Shoulder didn't feel great, but not as bad as it had. I used a narrow grip again and made sure to keep my elbows tucked in tight against my body. It went as well as I could have hoped.

I was not moving well today at all. I was stiff and awkward.

    Clean&Jerk:
Not great. I had a lot of trouble getting up from the bottom position. Probably because I have been power cleaning everything lately and don't have front squats programmed in. I may have to address this coming up soon. I also had to stop and warm-up and foam roll again halfway through. My back tightened up and was popping. I'm not sure why.

    Jerks:
I decided to try some heavier jerks from the blocks after the clean&jerk. My shoulder felt fine until my 2nd jerk attempt. I decided to stop.

    Back Squat:
I had something I had to take care of. When I came back to squat I was completely cold and had a lot of trouble warming up again. These did not go well. My knees and lower back were aching and I felt completely run down. I was lucky to get these reps.

    Snatch:
My shoulder was still a little tender, but gave me no trouble snatching. I hit my goal weight with only 1 miss. Felt solid and strong. The miss was a quality lift with just a little slop caused by premature celebration.

    Press:
Very solid and strong. I probably had more in me, but 5 was the goal and 6 was the result.

I had 2.5hrs of baseball practice after training yesterday, and I feel fried. Today was not a very good training day, and I had very little time to rush through it. But it ended up being pretty good.

    Clean&Jerk:
These started rough but smoothed out fairly well.

    Deadlift:
Pretty good. As usual I didn't push these as hard as possible. My back was tender and I didn't want to risk hurting myself.

I feel pretty fluffy and bloated today. Definitely over indulged again this weekend.

    Snatch:
I did not have much snap in my lifts today, and I had a lot of trouble pulling under. I ended up having trouble catching in the power position, but it worked out decently enough. I hit my goal weight the 1st time. I can't ask for much more than that these days.

    Bench Press:
Not too bad. My shoulder was a little sore but I managed things well enough.
