It was a long day, and I was not feeling like training this evening. I should have followed that instinct and just skipped today. My barbell snap ring came off again. It took a whole to find a new one and get it on. Frustrating. And then it got worse........
Clean&Jerk:
Power cleans up through 207.5. 220 was a really smooth. Then I hit myself in the throat on 232.5,* then wasn't even close on the next clean. And when I finally stand it up, I hit myself under the chin and almost knock myself out.
Clean Pulls:
Easy.
Back Squats:
Very very hard. My legs were useless. I can't believe I finished these.

I felt pretty bad today. Worn down, weak, no energy.
These did not go fast or easy. They felt a lot harder than they should have. I got 1 rep over the minimum and called it quits.
Went for a jog afterward. This also was not easy nor fun.

I was pretty weak and run down again today.* Had to get up early and had a long day. I really didn't want to train today. It got slightly better as I went.
Snatches:
Pulls were weak and slow off the ground. Shoulder was weak and soft on the catch, had trouble balancing the catch, even during warmups. The one rep I managed to catch really aggravated my shoulder. I hadn't had many shoulder issues during the snatch lately.
Snatch Pulls:
These felt a lot more solid than I thought they would, but not great.
Front Squats:
Somehow someway, these actually went really well. These were very smooth and solid reps.

The shoulder felt alright today, as long as I used a narrower grip. I brought each side in about 2" and things were fine. Managed 6 quality reps, and a backoff accessory sets without issue.

These were hard because I did the entire session very quickly due to time constraints. I was supposed to do snatch balances, but was afraid to aggravate my shoulder,* so I skipped them and called it a day.

I was finally able to bench today. I had to bring my grip in very narrow to accommodate the shoulder without aggravating it. Even with the shoulder issue, I figured I could bench more than this, but this was it.
The 5/3/1 workout afterward went well.

I felt pretty good today. Good thing, because I had very little time. Today was a sprint session.
This is deload week, so things will be getting even lighter from here.
Snatch:
Acceptable, but not great. Kind of choppy and rough as opposed to the smooth I was hoping for.
Clean&Jerk:
Same.
Front Squat:
Went really well.
