    Deadlift 5/3/1+
    135x5
    185x5
    225x5
    265x5
    300x3
    337.5x1

Today was a long busy day. I was rushed for time. Most of my time was spent trying to loosen up my lower back. It did not want to cooperate today.

    Deadlift:
I was not comfortable with how my lower back was feeling, so I did my minimum 1 rep and stopped.

Then I skipped my back squats just to be safe.

After 3 and a half weeks off, I'm hopefully back to training regularly. What was supposed to be a 1 week deload, turned into almost a month of not going into my gym due to long work hours and a lot of family obligations.

    Weight: 187.4

    Snatch
    95x2
    115x2
    125x2
    135x2
    145x1
    150x1
    155x1

    Snatch High Pull + Shrugs
    185-5+5 x3

It took a very long time to prepare for this. I was incredibly stiff and sore. But I worked until I felt ready and thought it would go well.

    Snatch:
My left knee and ankle hurt and had a limited range of motion which hindered me in the bottom catch position. It wasn't an issue during warm-ups, only under load. I worked on this a lot, to no avail. Snatches were decent until I hit the bottom of the catch position. I stopped because I didn't think I would be able to go heavier, despite feeling strong.

    Snatch High Pulls + Shrugs:
    Pretty good, felt strong.

    Press 5/5/5+
    45-10x2
    65x5
    85x5
    105x5
    122.5x5
    137.5x5
    137.5x5

It took me 45 minutes to stretch and warm-up today. My lower back, knee, and ankle just weren't having it. Once I got those worked out, I just felt weak from not pressing in nearly a month. I was extremely happy to get 5, twice in a row. The way warm-up reps felt, I didn't think I could.

    Back Squat 5/5/5+
    45-10x2
    95x5
    135x5
    160x5
    185x1
    185x1-front squat

Another 45 minute warm-up, but I couldn't make it through my working sets. My knee and ankle hurt too badly. I had no range of motion in them. Oddly enough the front squat rep felt decent. I stopped before I hurt myself.

I didn't get to train at all yesterday.

It was a long hard day at work and I didn't get to train until almost 9pm. But I worked on my ankle and knee some and decided to see how they felt today.

    Back Squats:
Felt very good. Not strong, but solid and without pain. I didn't push very hard.

    Bench Press:
Better than I thought it would be after a month off. I'm happy with these. I even managed a competition pause on the last two.

Another 9pm session after a long hard day. I had to warm-up and rush this. I decided to squat again. I might start squatting everyday if my body will handle it. I miss squatting everyday.

    Back Squat:
Not too bad. I just wanted a little more weight than yesterday, and got it.

    Clean& Jerk:
These were awkward after a month off, but better than I thought they would be.

Another 12 hour day, another 9pm session, and another 45 minutes to really feel ready to lift. Didn't get much sleep last night. Pretty worn down today.

    Front Squat:
These went really well. I stopped early due to time constraints.

    Deadlift:
I ditched my scheduled rep and weight scheme to feel out and test my lower back. I wanted to hit a smooth 315 without any issue, and I did.

I got to lift during the day today, but it still took a lot of work to get ready, and I was still rushed due to family obligations.

    Back Squats:
Stiffness in the knee, ankle, and hip today. The hip felt fine until I started squatting.

    Snatch:
The knee, ankle, and hip felt fine during snatches. Things were going along well enough, and then suddenly I forgot how to snatch and things just fell apart. I probably could have used more time between reps, but I did what I could.

During warm-ups and stretching I strained something in my calf. It made squats very difficult. I worked on it for about half an hour with minimal results.

    Front Squats:
The calf made these difficult, but I hit the number I wanted. I decided to stop here rather than keep pushing.

    Press:
Presses went well enough, but near the end of the session my neck and traps started tightening up and pinching a nerve. I think I could have gotten more if this hadn't happened.
