IWF Calendar updated - new Olympic qualifying events added

I believe the gold event multiplier will be crucial to the final scoring (since athletes who don’t attend gold events will find it very, very difficult to make up the deficit against athletes who do attend them).

According to the qualification system every lifter has to attend at least one gold event to be eligible. It's point "C. 2. c) iii." (what a headache).

Different topic, I looked at the Qatar Cup regulations and noticed they'll only host the 14 Olympic categories.

2019 calendar has been updated with several silver and the first bronze event.

It's getting more and more. For the first period which ends with April 2019 we now have the following qualification events for senior lifters:

5th International Qatar Cup (Qatar, duh)

Feb
4th International Fajr Cup (Iran)
EGAT's Cup International Weightlifting Championships (Thailand)
IWF World Cup (China)

Mar
Las Vegas International Open (USA)

Apr
European Championships (Georgia)
Pan-American Championships (Guatemala)
Asian Championships (China)
