are there any sports that do squats with no rack? i.e. from a clean?

Are there any sports that do squats with no rack? i.e. from a clean?

So, starting with a clean or power clean, then having caught it and once straightened up, then just doing multiple squats?

One reason why i'm interested is 'cos it's an exercise that would be possible at home without a squat rack..

I don't know if olympic weightlifting has it? or powerlifting? or crossfit?

    why not?

Looking at strengthlevel/strengthstandards, it seems like maybe there isn't a massive difference in the weight one can lift between clean and front squat?

^^ tell that to the chinese who like to have a margin of 30-50kg from their CJ and FS. Now 20 or less isn't that big of a difference but 30-40 is sizeable.

Are you asking for a an exercise variation you can do because you do not have access to a squat rack?
