I believe another Iranian lifter who competed very sparingly named Ashgar Ebrahimi also did 186 at some point although I'm not 100% sure he was 94kg or 105 at that time.
Vladimir Sedov equalled the 188kg at 2014 worlds as a 94kg lifter.

What are the the highest cl&js of all time for the same weight class?
He also snatched 205 kg in trainnig.

The heaviest 94 kg CnJs are 233 for Ilya and Sohrab, and 232.5 for Kolecki.

Looking back in time there are a few more impressive lifts:
    Victor Solodov 233 @ 90
    Anatoly Khrapaty 235 @ 90
    Ivan Chakarov 230 @ 90
    Kakhi Kakhiashvili 235 @ 90
And let's not forget Asen Zlatev 225 at 82.3 kg

I wouldn't include Ilya's 233kg given those results were expressly struck from the record. Ilya should be competing at the Asian Championships at 96kg soon, against Tao and Rostami (not sure if Moradi will be competing even though he cancelled his surgery), I think he'll look shit off the juice but I hope he can do well. 96kg is on April 25th - but no entry lists yet as far as I can see.

Moradi also did 234kg in a non-official comp in Iran in 2016: https://www.instagram.com/p/BHhl2vWg...ource=ig_embed

235 @ 90 is insane, cheers for the list. I think Moradi will clear 235kg. If he can get 190/235 he'll be the GOAT (has anyone ever topped 420kg total at 94/96kg?).

If I'm not mistaken, Viktor Solodov did 422.5 at the '84 Friendship Cup in the 90kg category. Technically 423 because he CJ'd 233 for a world record.

I think that's right. I believe Khrapaty hit 420 at 90 as well.

Obviously, a lot of these peak performances happened in the 80s with no or ineffective drug testing, but I'm curious how much benefit lifters of today get from factors like : better barbells/equipment, better surgical procedures, nutrition knowledge, recovery protocols. What could Solodov lift with Mohradi's training situation? What could Mohradi lift in Solodov's conditions in the 80s?

Untested Moradi does 205/242 at 100-102kg but that is not in the same session or competition setting (unlimited time and attempts, no weigh in, no competitors, no straps, etc). Zakharevich did 440 in a competition at 100 and obviously we know he has done 455 at 110. Ilya at most has done 200/245 from the floor (also likely 110+) but not the same session if I recall, and Aramnau wasn’t able to approach it either in training.

Aramnau snatched 200 kg for a triple, block snatched 210, hang snatched 200 x 3 and 205 x 2. He also clean and jerked 240 multiple times and cleaned 250 kg off blocks.

But yeah you are right about Solodov, 3rd highest sinclair ever with that total, absolutely insane! He is one of the few guys that did something unheard of and then basically never competed again... I would love to know more about him!

Also let's not forget Nicu Vlad's 427.5 at 100. That is a superior total to all of the current lifters too!

Aramnau never did those snatch and CJ in the same session, competition format, without straps.

Zakharevich also stated he snatched 215 from blocks, power cleaned 235, and cleaned 265.

There's a book out which talks about him a bit, I can't remember the title.
