With comparing a female lifter to Lasha, I would assume that would mean setting all time world records in the lifts.

China hasn't lost any places but remember it's all about individual qualification now. Pretty much a lock they will send 4 though.

    Irawan is a man.

They have no competition at 49, 55, 64 and 87 so those will go.

I was thinking of Srisurat, which is moot because I forgot they got a doping violation and Thailand ain't going. Carry on. Also forgot about Kuo beating Chen.

    They're currently on 4+4.

The biggest risk for them now IMO is three doping failures during the Olympic qualifying period, which would mean 0+0.

    Bad news concerning Moradi.

    https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1081942/boliver

Sohrab Moradi, the world and Olympic champion and multiple world record holder, is out of the 2019 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Championships after dislocating his shoulder in training.

Kashirina's old Junior records were 148/181/327, so Li hasn't overtaken them all. At the same time Kashirina can't snatch 148 now either...

Here her coach says she peaked for this meet and her form was good for a "332-333 total". One can tell she was pissed after the 146 attempt.

At the moment I think we will once again miss out on a great rivalry in the Olympics because of the obnoxious participation restrictions.
Not enough people remember, but this also happened in 2008 when Jang Miran won easily by 50kg because her almost equal from the previous three years Mu Shuangshuang wasn't picked (or rather allowed).

I doubt the Chinese NOC will select Li Wenwen unless she has a reliable advantage over Kashirina.
