If she does 156/194/350 then yes she will be.

    @ 52:40 in the vid.

Misses 220 then goes for 231...

Snatch still too low to beat Moradi (90% of the time)

Not a fan of how they wiped the old WRs, if you're 94kg you can still compete at the 'new' 96kg category so why wipe them?

Li Wenwen isn’t even close to being the Kashirina of the Women’s division.

    'Will be'

I know its a bold statement, but at 19 years old she just beat Kashirina head to head, who, I might add is only 28. At the same age (and without a doping violation) she is 9 kilos ahead.

Tatiana might have been robbed of Gold in Rio but she had the weight on the bar in London and did not make the lift. Let's see what happens at Worlds this year, and Li Wenwen may not even lift at Tokyo but I think she has a chance to come away with more World Championships in her career and the WR's across the board. We shall see.

I think Wenwen is certainly the Lifter who looks like she could develop into the next c.350kg Lifter (I like to think Kashirina could get back there, but we'll see) and take the Mantle for the next few years...there are similarities regarding her height etc...

Nobody ever says 'Kashirina is worse than Kashirina' though. These numbers don't mean much. The person taking the most steroids isn't the best.

    WHAAAAAAAAAAT???

I hate this. The Russians are being sooooo careful right now. We're not seeing anywhere near their best lately.

What was that extra dip before the jerk at 180kg from Wenwen? Starts at 1:22:37. Clearly wasn't to adjust the hands, and she doesn't do it at 170kg or 185kg. Looked like she might have wanted to attempt the jerk but stopped, then did the jerk after.

There was a male lifter at '19 or '18 Euros who did this too - though for every attempt - and wasn't called for it either.

Kashirina will be the sole Russian woman in Tokyo and she will win because China has four other (easy) categories already.

Just to back up Erpel, China has 49 locked besides 59, and 64. While they seem to have the lead in the 76s, PRK will be right there. 55 has Irawan ahead of theirs and they have 2 gals in the 87 that are way ahead of everyone else and moving up from 76 (Kang being one of them and I forget the other offhand).
