Getting lightheaded on the clean recovery/jerk

What are your strategies to prevent this happening?

    There's the strategies:
    1. Make sure you're well-fed
    2. Eat some sugar/carbs before lifting (gatorade, whatever)
    3. Don't cut too hard
    4. Take a second or two between bracing and initiating the lift
    5. Don't overheat if it's very hot

And if it still keeps happening sometimes on 90%+ clean and jerks, with no known pattern on when it happens, what have you done to deal with it?

    6. Experiment with different bar placement to ensure you're not inadvertently putting pressure on your carotid artery.
    7. Make sure that you don't over-tighten your belt.
    8. Breathe.
