    Let's talk about the 2019 AO...since it's over

I forgot to create a thread about here as I've been busy with other stuff while I'm out of town.

Some lifters who were definitely UTR came out to play.

Mary Theissen CJ 154 and SN 106 (has done 111 from floor?) ex thrower and coach

Like that Lindsay Siolka that MFlagg pointed out to me. 197@59

Cicely Kyle doing 168@45 as a 35yo master (yes, she was previously sanctioned for a tainted supplement).

Addison Snatched 165@102 but didn't CJ much. Looks like Osorio didn't compete.

David Garcia did 156/186@96 which still kinda surprised me see him list at 96. (he's like 5'8/9 so not super tall)

This kid, 15, Hampton Morris did 109/146@61. Morgan Madlifts did 137/185. A bit low but still 322.

Can we talk about the very low success rate in the majority of the sessions?

Not a lot of massive jerks from the men but some great snatching.

Was that Blackwell's best comp total?

    Shacasia Johnson, what a future.

What was the story with the Red platform?

Rob did 341, 154/187@2017 AO. His best National meet Sn seems to be 157 and a 187 CJ. He did the 157 with 177@ 2016 Nationals.

Bob and I have the run the numbers on this a handful of times. It's always the case at the AO especially with fuckton of lifters and even at nationals.

Also, some of the USAW judges judge too harshly on some elbows while others they don't see bend.

Shacasia has been on the radar for awhile now, particularly in the snatch with pre prego Chuckie Welch. But it's probably only been about a year, she has started to CJ numbers rivaling the other 69/71s.

3 misses in the Sn at 105. Just couldn't stabilize it. Apparently she had taken 103 in the back that was good. Hit 135 and missed 138&140. Dunno how but I don't think she actually cleaned 140.

funny I can't get the video to work on the USAW website.
If you click on the 76A session, the 96B is what comes up.
So I tried the 96B thinking they were reversed...nope 96B comes up.
All of the other links for the other classes/sessions seem to work fine.

Anyone got a source for a video of the 76A sess? cuz it would appear that video is being hid or something....
