In case you want to binge watch 1990's sessions.

Anyone with an interest in weightlifting sessions from the 1990's, the Weightlifting Archive youtube channel just dropped 100 uploads of Worlds, Europeans and Olympics covering 1994 to 2000. Its the German Eurosport broadcast but still interesting to watch.

Awesome! I’ve worked my way through a lot of Frank Rothwell’s stuff during this quarantine time so this will be useful.

I feel like judging has gotten stricter over the last 2 decades. We still see some A sessions now where good lifters seem to get a little bit of benefit of the doubt, but if Salimi was lifting at that 2000 superheavy A session then he would not of gotten red lighted like he did in 2016. Rezazedeh would have trouble lifting in our judging climate now.

I watched the 94s from the 2000 Olympics and Kakhiashvilis 220 cnj was very sketchy. He looked like he was barely holding together at that comp.

The judging has seemed more consistently strict lately.
