Going back a ways with this one. Bunyami Sudas, who lifted for Turkey in the late 90s into the mid 00s. He looked relatively slim as a 94kg lifter, put on some muscle at 105kg, and then got reaaaaaaallly fat as a SHW. He wasn't a tall guy either, he ended up weighting 300+ at under 6 feet I guess.

Anastasia Romanova at 69. Very lanky.

Beating a dead horse, but: too many women at 87/90, they don't have the height or frame.

Agree, though I'd think that many are simply there to improve their placings (instead of competing at 76/75), rather than maximising their individual performance relative to bodyweight. Same deal with competing in non-Olympic classes for Robi points.

Countries would want to have lifters across multiple categories as well, provided they're not at 1+1.

Both fairly obvious points but I'm sure this has been discussed before.

Dusmurotov from UZB was a 105 with lifts around 170/225. I think he won a medal in Houston 2015 after bans. He's only 168 cm tall (same as e.g. Liao Hui).

Along the same lines, though less competitive, Tran Van Hoa lifted at 94kg and 105kg, similar height (around mine). He is a brick shithouse in person. From memory, his best lifts were around 155-195 but don't quote me on that. Coaches now.
