    3 position snatch

i see inconsistency, but i just can't seem to pin point where i am technically inconsistent.

it prob has more to do with positional strength/power and weaknesses

Looks OK to me. The biggest thing is the jump back. Keep the weight even on your feet. I also think you need more upper body strength to lock that bar in tight.

    Nice gym too.

The snatch and clean look pretty good to me too. Good speed. The jerk looks a little off. Too much weight on the front foot.

Kimhwan why did you delete your post? lol

His jump back is fine IMO. Make sure you're finishing properly so you don't receive the weight on your toes and really engage your core and rotator cuffs to keep that torso upright and receive/lockout the snatch properly.

Personally I don't like a jump back. Other people don't mind. Just what I think.

It's definitely not something I teach, but I don't work to hard to eliminate it, depending on its severity and cause. If you have a very strong pull and let the bar loop, lifters will tend to jump back to meet the bar, which is bad. But some people naturally move back because they retreat their hips very quickly, and as long as the bar stays with them, I don't think it's that much of a problem. If you find yourself constantly missing in front, you gotta fix it.
