    This was an unscheduled session. I just happen to have the time, and I was very frustrated with how things went yesterday.

    I also made some adjustments to my stance and grip. Maybe not the best idea this close to a competition, but I wasn't getting anywhere the way things were going.

    I was weak and worn out. More so than I anticipated. As soon as I started squatting, I knew I was in trouble. I couldn't handle much.* Even the bench was slow and hard.

    Overall a good meet.

    Snatch went perfectly. I wish I had gone bigger. It felt that strong.

    Clean&Jerk timing and pacing was all messed up. Not sure what happened, but I planned 2 reps for each* warm-up,* but suddenly I barely had time to do 1. I hit my last warm-up and ran out for my 1st attempt. 2nd clean wore me down. I caught my 3rd clean, but ran out of gas on the way up. It should have been an easy clean, but the fast pace of my warm-up and attempts exhausted me.

    Back Squats beat me down. My legs were shaking like a newborn baby deer. I had to lower the weight to finish. I felt wiped out.

    Apparently the reason I was so exhausted was that I was having a migraine headache. As I started warming up for the snatch, it hit me hard. Had to stop. I couldn't function for about 5 hours afterward.

    Overall a decent session. Had a couple tight/pinched spots, but moved fairly well. Head felt a lot better.

    Back Squat: backed off the volume to ease into things. Went well enough.*

    Snatch: I'm happy that I made it up to my opener from 2 weeks ago. That's usually out of reach

    Clean&Jerk: tired by this point. These were rough. My elbows got sore and I had trouble overhead. By the end, I was out of gas. Pulls were too low and slow to get under.

    I felt pretty good in my recovery, until the end of my warm-up. My right trap started seizing up near the shoulder. Stabbing pain. Made it difficult to push overhead.

    Felt pretty good going in.

    Front Squat: Legs were weak today. This was all I had in me. I'm going to up the volume in the coming weeks and try to get my legs back. Also tried squatting with my new wider clean&jerk grip. It is going to take some getting used to. It make a the bar ride tighter against the throat.

    Deadlift: upper back was tired from the last 2 days, but it held well enough. It was my hands that really limited me. My thumbs especially hurt,* even with tape.

    My legs were weak again today. Rushed today, had to cut some volume off and hurry through the workout.

    Back Squats were decent, but tiring.

    Snatch was fairly smooth considering how tired my legs were.

    Clean&Jerk was not smooth or easy.* I did not mind cutting these short and leaving.
