    Warmup. More technique work with snatches and cleans under the pvc sticks. Tomorrow I'll hit some real weights and do my last session of BS before next weekends meet. Probably on the lighter side.

    75/94. Missed first attempt on snatch because it was forward. Second attempt elbow bent because shoulder was wonky. PJ. Still pulling cleans too high.

    Worked up to a #335 BS single and did 3 with #337. Some KB swings after.

    77+/94 Worked up to a 123.5/#272 FS single then 125x3

    4 rounds of 5 Barbell jumps plus some DU (whatever reps till fail AKA not many).

    All told, seemed like I was in and out within 75-90 minutes.

    9/9 Wed. Forgot protein and missed lunch so was on a zero cal AMP and low carb Gatorade. Ugh.

    Skipped 70% and just did the bar. Jerk spring dips to 140ish/#307 for 5. 3x10s Rack Jerk holds (tired) with 140.
    FS to 115/#255

    3 rounds of 4 barbell jumps with 2 L/R rebounding depth jumps.

    Some time in the Sauna before they turned it off. I ended up spending about a total of 60 minutes total in there losing about #4 between that and a light warmup in the gym (basically bar work to loosen up for meet on Saturday).

    9/12 Sat Weighed in at 77.6 and managed to weighin at 77 just under an hour later with less than a minute to go before weighin stopped. Sweating and spitting, some jogging on the blacktop (couldn't jumprope worth a darn) and assault bike work while spitting.

    1-6. Missed 85-86-87 getting pretty close on 87. Missed my last WU attempt of 81 out front in the WU room after making 75. Decided to try and make 85 without wasting energy on another attempt as it was getting close. Pinched my junk on the first snatch.

    Made opener at 100 on CJ after clarking 94 in the backroom after 87. Again decided to go for 100. Missed 105 and 107 cleans after. Pinched my junk a few more times in warmups before taking off compression shorts and being sort of mindfucked about the clean in warmup cleans.

    Bleh.

    Positives: Don't look so marshmallowey in a singlet as I did at 85+(87). I made weight though I drank a bit too much water on Friday but it was hot as heck walking around with my backpack to the gym to sauna and get a haircut before checking in to hotel. If I did it again, I woulda gone straight to the hotel or waited till I could check in killing time somewhere cool then hit the haircut and sauna. Also didn't help that I forgot to pack socks and decided to walk to the mall to get a pair and then walked to a bus stop hella aways. Dumb. On a positive note, it's not the bar or equipment that is my problem (which was odd since last meet I opened with my best training snatch narrowly missing 87 after only training up to 77).

    Negatives: 1-6. I didn't really feel weak warming up until I missed 81 and 94. Should have used easier warmup attempts.

    At least I know where I am and I'm closer to 77. Time to go on maintenance diet instead of low carb and try to get a decent total at 77. I'm gonna take this week easy doing whatever and then decide what program to switch to possibly or to continue my own (ugh).

    Did my usual warmup besides riding the bike to gym (3mi) and started feeling alive after WU (vs feeling like chewed bubblegum). Bar work on SnCJ and Kang Squatsx5 to 70+/#155 (#95, 125, 145, 155).

    15 reps of DB curl and press with 20's and then a set of 25's. Finit.

    DB rows 40-50-60x15 R/L 20r with the 40's
    Standing face pulls with one of the cable machines. 15r with 50 and 60#
    Face pull exercise with pulldown machine by taking a wide grip and leaning back. 15r with #50 and 60
