    Cleans got better as I went; fixed up some timing issues on the catch. Bench moved very well - 245 went up fast with no form breakdown. Pretty happy with this.

    Rec centre close to my house, figured I'd check it out since Pinetree is closed for a while. Tried to weasel my way in without paying but no dice. Hey, worked at the last place. All the facilities look great (rink & pool), except for the weight room of course. At least there was a squat rack. Staff dude called me out on my lifters, believe it or not. Dude thought they were soccer boots and not appropriate for gym wear. Gave him shit. Kinda felt bad for it and thought about apologizing but you know what, the ignorant bastard had the audacity to approach me moments after the conclusion of my first set of 9, I was not in the mood let me tell you. Add that on to the ignorance regarding the shoes and I figure we're about even.

    Meant to do this yesterday but schedule didn't work out for unsurprising reasons. I'm convinced that the weights at this gym are a little heavy... the bar always feels heavy here, in every exercise. I frequent at least five different gyms and this is the only one where shit feels consistently heavy... hmm...

    Squats were ok. Fairly solid, but the sets weren't that fast - had to take a few breaths between reps. Also had to warm up again halfway after taking an ill-timed phone call... but nbd. Bench was so-so. Felt heavy but moved fast.

    Forgot about Sundays hours :P. Lifting area was completely occupied when I arrived so started w/ squats again. Felt/looked better mechanically than yesterday. IT band/hip certainly less of a factor. Didn't feel much stronger though . Cleans were pretty easy, but first two 110's were caught too close to windpipe so no J. Killed the last 10 min. before close with some bs benching. Pecs were sore but otherwise went decent.

    Powers were OK when I hit the right groove. Bench was OK, pecs surprisingly sore/weak. First 225 was easy but next two progressively harder. Volume was easy. Seal rows felt great, definitely going to do these with more regularity.

    Had to leave early - apparently someone at work scheduled a group meeting but only emailed half the group. Tf.
