    OSO Collars

Has anyone used the OSO barbell collars? Curious how they compare to the HG collars.

I picked up a pair a few months ago, they are awesome. Never had them move or shift between reps when doing doubles/triples. They seem to be the best thing short of competition collars. Only downside, and this is slight, is that when you open them the latch can spring back pretty quick and it stings if you nail your finger with it.

I've been wanting a pair of these for a while. A friend of mine works at a company that machined some of the parts for these, and was the first one to tell me about them. My birthday is in 3 weeks, so maybe I can convince my mom to get them for me.

What he said. Unless you actually need comp collars, nothing else is even worth considering IMO.

How does the price of these compare to Eleiko muscle clamps?
I found the oso price, but can't reach the Eleiko retail price.

I found the muscle clamps to be very good, especially compared to the Rogue hg crap.

Not sure what Eleiko muscle clamps are but I have the OSO collars. These are a superb product and I've never regretted purchasing them at all. I've been using them for 3 years and they have not had any issues. The collars will not shift under any weights and I've also used them on my Powerlock bar and have found similar results.

I meant to ask this a while back. I'm glad someone else did. It looks like I need some OSOs. I'm about tired of spring collars and the others I've got.
