    That's funny.

When she first started her "come back" her numbers were terrible (off the juice now obvs).... 80/90 or something as opposed to 100/140. lolz

IIRC, she was the one would just power everything? ...IOW techique sucks, but mondo-roids bridges the gap, and then some obvs.

Then at Euros she actually post some respectable numbers ... I was thinking she's probably juicing again.

She didn't always power everything and her technique really wasn't that awful (except maybe her jerks). There was a Euros where she basically powered everything but that's because she was so far ahead of everyone that she could.

Admittedly, I thought she was clean now.
    100/120 is a far cry from 110/140 for a non-SHW woman.

When she did 80/95 (attempts 80/84x/84x + 95/100x/101x) at the 2018 Qatar Cup, I thought she had cleaned up and her lifting was a bit tragic.

I thought her comeback to 95/120 was a bit quick, but was thinking that it was possible clean. I should've known better. Good riddance.

I watched her lift at the 2019 Qatar Cup. She did a fairly easy 93/97/101 and 116/120/125x to finish 2kg ahead of Rebeka Koha.

I know the primary driver of Koha's retirement was (an Islamic) marriage ... but I wonder if this ^ figured into the decision a bit.

Assuming Koha is clean, you train your whole life, from a youth, and put your heart into it .... to be outdone by a roided out superfreak, who was popped and went from a death spiral (80/95 '18 Q.Cup performance & '19 worlds bombout) to make back to 20 kilos under her best total within a year or so from that bottom. I bet she just said "hell with this" at that point.

Kuo is only 7yrs older than Koha and given the lifestyle and injuries, what's to say she ever would have a chance at a Gold at Worlds or the Olympics besides PRK or China placing silver and bronze.

Also, there was no idea when she did retire if the Olympics was going to happen in 2021 (and it's still up in air sorta). She'd have an outside chance at bronze if China didn't send a 59 but there are other gals right in that 215-220+ range she'd have to fight for bronze.

I mean, she had medaled at Worlds, gone to an Olympics and plenty of medals at Euros and Jr Worlds.

ITA refers Weightlifting Federation of Vietnam to be sanctioned by independent panel due to multiple violations
    https://ita.sport/news/ita-refers-we...le-violations/

    Today is May 28th.
The Romanian case was referred over 3 months ago and their lifters are still listed.

The ranking which determines the Tokyo quota is supposed to be final by early July.

So, maybe Romania will get the boot by then but how likely is that for Vietnam given these time frames? Oh and I'm now 90% certain that Colombia will be safe.

I am tempted to say that if any of these countries skate through because of an administrative 'go-slow' then there will be outrage - but considering how much outrageous stuff has gone on, this is actually normal for WL.
