    My neck has been extremely stiff all weekend and was even worse today. It was to the point that moving in any direction was difficult. I probably should've taken the day off, but I really wanted to train today. Surprisingly enough my neck didn't bother me during snatches, but it did bother me quite a bit during the overhead press.

    I just did some sets of 5 to see how they felt and see where I am. I'll go heavier next week and start dialing in my program, assuming everything goes well.

    I was still feeling pretty rough from snatches, so these didn't go very well. By the time I squatted my legs were completely exhausted. I had hoped to squat another set or two. But it's going to take a while for the legs to acclimate again.

    My head was pounding today. I was going to do more sets of deadlifts and work my way up with smaller jumps and more volume, but decided against it. Same with the bench press.

    Due to some schedule and time changes, I'm back to lifting shorter sessions, 7 days per week, rather than 3 longer sessions per week. This will allow me to get work in during those days when I have little time, and hopefully allow me to get in more consistent assistance work.
