VPN + Canadian Broadcast channels. They've had everything except the 61s oddly.

Excited for 109kg A tomorrow. Martirosyan and Djuraev are a lock for gold and silver, but bronze is up for grabs between a few others, one of those being Ali Hashemi (although I think he will probably end up 5th).

Curious that Ivan Ivanov is allowed to be in Tokyo when the EB members from e.g. Kazakhstan & Uzbekistan are not.

    109A session was great.

Very happy for Plesnieks. His very efficient technique is a credit to coach Eduard Andruskevics, glad he got the medal.

Martirosyan left his best lifts in the training hall. Out coached as well arguably. Djuaraev will get better and this wont be the last time these guys meet.

It was important the jury didn't eventually decide a medal, neither for Hristov nor Naniev.

Also, Martirosyan doing 240 a few days prior on a lark was unprofessional.

Bidani out due to covid positive. I would not have been surprised if this had happened to more athletes frankly, but its sad, he was a medal shot for sure.

Davoudi and Lasha go 3/3. New WR/OR snatch: 223kg.

One WR down, two to go for Lasha...
