Taranenko jerked thumbless meaning the biggest weight ever jerked was done that way. Uncommon but if it works for you, it works for you!

I played around with thumbless jerks today and it felt good. I felt like I suddenly felt the punch at the lockout more clearly.

But how do you go to the thumbless grip after cleaning? Do you simply adjust the hands during the pause? That felt a little awkward.

I readjust my hands by popping it off the shoulders at the top or one at a time.
