What's crackin WLF friends, been a minute. I haven't had a lot good, respectable WL training to post. Still not one year out from my second ACL/LCL/PCL/meniscus repair (Jan 31 surgery date). Been slowing getting back into the swings. Done 120/145 in the lifts recently, but it just feels so out of rhythm right now. I have been focusing on building a stronger and healthier body to support bigger loads - lots of unilateral exercises, bodybuilding work/hypertrophy, and general S&C movements.
Pulled a 256kg/565lb deadlift recently in this training edit:
and worked back up past my old backsquat PR hitting 232/511lbs:
Excited to see what 2018 brings in the classic lifts!

Couple more PRs to end off the year. Getting back to a program again next week and building back up to take a long shot at qualifying for Nationals.
120kg training snatch PR, 270kg training total PR and 160kg all-time clean PR (twice, missed both jerks). Jumped from 150-160 and probably should have taken 155 if I wanted a better shot at making the jerk at 160.
188kg back squat PR (also a PR at 184kg before it). Went for 193kg afterwards and got buried.

Back squat starting to increase after adding in squat volume again. PR at 190kg after a bunch of heavier clean & front squat & jerk and sets of 6 squats at 152kg. Might actually hit my yearly squat goal (200) for the first time ever.

Lifts from yesterdays competition. 5/6 lifts made. 2 kg Snatch PR, 4kg Clean and Jerk PR, 6 kg Clean PR, 8kg Total PR.
Had relatively minor surgery today which makes me unable to lift for about a month, so it feels good to have set PRs at my last chance before the convalescence.

PR snatch doubles at 107kg, 108kg, and 109kg. In the middle of heavy volume in squats and deadlifts also so happy to hit PR numbers while feeling like garbage mostly.
I technically made 107kg last week with straps, but pressed out the second rep pretty badly. Last real PR was 105kg from over 1.5 years ago when my single PR was 8kg less. I'll push doubles to a max next week so hoping to get to low 110s.

Competed this past weekend. Made a 122kg PR snatch and a 160kg PR clean & jerk for a PR 282kg total. Pressed out my second attempts for each lift at 120kg and 158kg which match the heaviest weights I attempted in the 7 week training cycle leading up to the meet. 3rd attempts were both 2kg heavier than anything I attempted during that time also.
